Subhabrata Talapatra

Subhabrata Talapatra serves as the CAD/EDA Department Head at PsiQuantum since June 2022, following a progression of roles in key engineering positions across several prominent technology companies. Prior roles include Principal CAD Designer at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd., and Principal Engineer at Cadence Design Systems. Subhabrata has extensive experience in the development of Cadence-based PDKs and has held senior engineering roles at Rambus, Semtech, Broadcom, and NetLogic Microsystems, with a foundation in design engineering from Triport Electronics Pvt. Ltd. Subhabrata holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, and completed a Micromasters in Data Science & Statistics through MITx.
