Apart from their academic degrees, Maria Teresa Hernández also holds additional certifications. In June 2022, they received the Certified Professional Impact Analyst (CPIA) Level 1 certification from CPIA Queen's University. In January 2020, they obtained a certification in Project Monitoring and Evaluation from McGill University. Additionally, in June 2018, they obtained the Diplomate in Social Projects Management from INDESOL & UNAM.
