Jérôme Nicolas

Jérôme Nicolas has a diverse range of work experience. Jérôme started their career as an Application Developer at Medasys, where they worked on the development and maintenance of radiology software for hospitals and clinics. Jérôme also managed relations with Swiss clients and partners.

Later, they worked as a Software Engineer and Consultant at Capgemini, where they were responsible for progressive and corrective maintenance of Business Intelligence systems for multiple projects.

Jérôme then joined Fujitsu Canada as a Consultant, where they worked as a BizTalk developer for a medical software editor. Jérôme developed a prototype to download HL7 files and split them to send the results to the correct clinic.

After that, they worked at Hitachi Solutions Canada (Previously Ideaca) as a BizTalk Integration Developer. Jérôme designed and improved integration applications to enhance efficiency and quality in various company processes.

Jérôme also has experience in non-profit organizations, serving as the Vice President of Productions Antichambre.

Jérôme then took a break for training and traveling before joining Matricis Informatique as a Systems Analyst and Integration Developer. In this role, they developed software integration for investment transactions execution at PSP Investments.

Currently, they are working at PSP Investments as a Solution Designer for their Enterprise Data Platform.

Jérôme Nicolas began their education in 1998 at La Rochelle Université, where they obtained a DUT (BTEC) in Computer Software Engineering in 2000. Jérôme then pursued further studies at Nantes Université from 2000 to 2002, earning a Licence in Computer Software Engineering. In 2004, they attended the University of South Brittany and completed a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2005.

In terms of additional certifications, Jérôme obtained the "Developing Business Process and Integration Solutions by Using Microsoft Biztalk Server 2010" certification from Microsoft/Prometric in September 2011. Jérôme also acquired the "BizTalk Technical Competency Assessment for Application Integration (BizTalk 2013)" certification from Microsoft in December 2014, and the "MS: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions" certification from Microsoft in June 2016.

Currently, Jérôme is pursuing an Attestation of Studies in Financial Engineering at École de technologie supérieure, with an expected completion date in 2024.
