Maria Constantinescu

Maria Constantinescu has a diverse work experience in the field of external communications and public relations. Maria currently holds the position of Director of External Communications at PSP Investments since April 2022. Previously, they served as Senior Manager of External Communications and Media Relations at PSP Investments from May 2017 to March 2022. Prior to that, Maria worked as a Senior Advisor in Public Relations at the Business Development Bank of Canada from August 2007 to April 2017. Maria was responsible for promoting the brand through various public relations activities and leading media outreach programs. Maria also has experience as a Communications Freelancer and as an Administrative Assistant to the CEO at the Central Bucharest Consortium. Additionally, they worked as a PR Specialist at PRO TV, where they coordinated arrangements for the office of the General Director and the CME team.

In 1997, Maria started their undergraduate studies at the University of Bucharest, majoring in English Language and Literature, General. Maria completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 2000.

Subsequently, in 2000, Maria pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree at the University of Bucharest, specializing in International Relations. Maria completed their studies in 2002.

From 2005 to 2008, Maria attended Université de Montréal, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Communication et science politique.

In 2005, Maria also obtained a Certificate in Public Relations Management from McGill University, completing the program in 2007.

To further enhance their knowledge and skills, Maria obtained additional certifications. In December 2011, they received a Reputation Management Certificate from Reputation Institute. Maria also completed a Strategic Communication and Change Program at the University of Ottawa, obtaining a Certificate in November 2021.

In 2022, Maria briefly returned to the University of Ottawa to pursue a Certificate in the Strategic Communications and Change Program.
