Pavol Pavelcik

Pavol Pavelcik has an extensive work experience in the tax and finance industry. Pavol is currently working as a Tax Director at PSP Investments since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PwC UK for 7 years, starting as a Tax consultant-intern in various departments such as VAT, Corporate Tax, and Transfer Pricing from September 2011 to July 2012. Pavol then worked as a Tax consultant-Transfer Pricing in the Transfer Pricing department, where they prepared benchmarks and transfer pricing documentation for clients from August 2012 to June 2013. After that, they joined PwC as a Tax Senior Consultant-Mergers & Acquisitions from September 2013 to October 2015, where they were responsible for tax due diligence reports and tax structuring papers. Pavol then progressed to the role of Senior Associate-Deals tax from November 2015 to December 2017 and later became a Manager from January 2018 to December 2020. In their last role at PwC UK, they served as a Senior Manager-Deals tax from January 2021 to October 2022.

Pavol Pavelcik obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economic Policy from Prague University of Economics and Business, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Pavol then pursued a Master's degree in Economic Policy from the same institution, completing it from 2009 to 2012. In 2010, they participated in an exchange program at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Furthermore, Pavol Pavelcik holds additional certifications such as Deloitte Financial Academy and KPMG Case Competition (national round).
