IT Service Management Specialist at PSP Investments

Pierre Martel has extensive work experience in IT service management and infrastructure support. Pierre started their career as a Senior Network Administrator at the National Bank of Canada in 2002, where they specialized in maintaining and troubleshooting servers and providing level 3 support. In 2009, they joined IBM Canada Ltd. as a Team Lead and Senior Network Administrator, responsible for leading a team of network administrators and managing user administration and support for the National Bank. In 2012, Pierre joined PSP Investments as a Senior Analyst of Operations, supporting a large number of Windows servers and managing the disaster recovery strategy. Pierre later advanced to the role of Manager of IT Infrastructure Support, leading a team of technicians and administrators. In their most recent role at PSP Investments, Pierre served as an IT Service Management Specialist.

Pierre Martel attended Dawson College from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained an AEC degree in Network Computing. After that, they did not pursue any further formal education. However, in April 2021, they obtained a certification as a Certified Incident Responder from PagerDuty.
