Senior Global Derivatives Trader at PSP Investments

Yacine Chemmaa has a strong background in the financial industry, with a focus on derivatives trading and settlement analysis. They began their career at Natcan in 2007, where they served as a Senior Settlement Analyst for three years. In 2011, Yacine transitioned to PSP Investments, where they held various roles in derivatives trading and coordination. They started as a Consultant, providing support and implementing software for derivatives, before moving on to become a Trading Coordinator. Yacine then advanced to the position of Derivatives Trader, and most recently, they have served as a Senior Global Derivatives Trader since April 2020.

Yacine Chemmaa's education history begins in 2001 when they attended IIHEM (International Institute for Higher Education In Morocco), where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Management. From 2003 to 2007, Yacine pursued further education at ESG (UQAM) and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration, Finance, and Economics.

In 2011, Yacine attended ESG (UQAM) once again and completed a Graduate Diploma in Financial Derivative instruments, which lasted until 2013. Additionally, Yacine has obtained several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the CSC (Canadian Securities Institute) certification, the DFOLC (Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course) certification, and the FLC (Futures Licensing Course) certification. Finally, in 2016, Yacine obtained the FRM certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
