Kevin Poorman

Kevin Poorman is Chairman of Pritzker Realty Group, a Senior Advisor and Counsel to PSP Partners and its affiliates. Mr. Poorman is a director of Horton Trust Company and also a member of that company’s investment committee. He is Executive Chairman of Vi Senior Living (formerly Classic Residence by Hyatt). Prior to his current role, Mr. Poorman was the CEO of PSP Partners and Pritzker Realty Group and the President of Horton Trust Company from January 2012 until January 2022.

From 1988 to 2011, Mr. Poorman was employed by and served as an officer, advisor, and director of many companies and businesses owned by interests of the extended Pritzker family, including Pritzker Realty Group, L.P., The Parking Spot, Centergate Residential, Classic Residence by Hyatt, Hawthorn Suites Hotel Company, and other companies.

Prior to joining Hyatt Hotels Corporation in 1988, Mr. Poorman was a partner at the Dallas, Texas-based law firm of Johnson & Swanson, where he had been since 1977. He also served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Loyola University of New Orleans from June 2010 to June 2014 and currently serves as the President and Member of the Board of Directors for The Barack Obama Foundation. He received his Bachelor of Science (Botany) degree and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma, graduating law school with highest honors.
