Ben Gascoigne, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ben is currently the Vice President & General Manager at PSS, a traffic safety innovation company. In this role, Ben aims to reduce distracted and fatigued driving in work zones and increase the accessibility of temporary pedestrian pathways by developing and bringing to market unique products.
In addition to their role as Vice President, Ben also serves as an Advisory Board Member at PSS, where they work with a team of experts to oversee the financial direction, investment priority, and marketing strategy of the company.
Prior to their current positions, Ben held various roles at PSS, including General Manager & New Products Manager, where they developed processes and strategies for new product development. As the New Products & Sales Operations Manager, Ben was responsible for reviewing and streamlining existing sales infrastructure and processes, as well as crafting a distribution strategy for new proprietary products.
Before joining PSS, Ben worked at Safety Skin Products, where they were involved in business development, specifically focusing on developing and bringing to market products to inspire, protect, and empower adventure seekers.
Prior to that, Ben worked at Bessamaire Sales, LLC as a Sales and Industrial Heat Stress Educator, where they served as the sole sales and business development agent for the company, responsible for marketing strategy and customer service.
Earlier in their career, Ben gained experience in coaching and community development roles. Ben worked as an Assistant High School Football Coach at University School and also served as a Regional Coordinator for Stomping Out Malaria in Africa as part of the Peace Corps. In this role, they worked on preventive health projects focused on malaria prevention and hygiene and sanitation in Senegal.
Ben holds an MBA degree and also interned at Cleveland Leadership Center during their studies.

Ben obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Case Western Reserve University between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) program at Cuyahoga Community College in 2010. For their undergraduate studies, Ben earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Trinity College-Hartford, where they attended from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they pursued short courses and certifications in entrepreneurship and startup validation through LinkedIn, taking programs such as "Brad Feld on Raising Capital" and "Brad Feld on Validating Your Startup Idea" in May 2019. Lastly, Ben obtained the certification of Emergency Medical Technician, Basic from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians in December 2010.
