Danielle Applegate is the founder of Applegate Solutions, a successful Service-Disabled Veteran Owned, Woman Owned Small Business that provided global management consulting and subject matter expertise to an array of clients including the Departments of Commerce, Defense, Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs, as well as private and nonprofit organizations. She served as the Director of Military and Veteran Engagement for Oracle Cerner supporting the deployment of the electronic health record to the military and veteran community through stakeholder education and engagement, charitable giving, and volunteerism. Prior to joining Cerner, she was the Vice President of VetsFirst at the United Spinal Association, a VA-certified Veteran Service Organization. She was also the first National Outreach Coordinator for the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Women Veterans, where she created and led groundbreaking women veteran initiatives and nationwide VA programming.
Ms. Applegate has been the recipient of the Department of Veterans Affairs Women Veteran Trailblazer award, the prestigious Diversity Women’s Power 100 award, and the HillVets100 award for her dedicated advocacy.
