Madalyn McElwain

Madalyn McElwain, JD, serves as the Interim Executive Director and Board Member of the Psychedelic Bar Association, while also holding the position of Founding Attorney at McElwain Law, where specialization includes nonprofit representation focused on social justice and drug policy reform. Additional experience includes being a volunteer panelist on the Colorado Natural Medicine Advisory Board Subcommittee and previously serving as the Chief Legal Officer of DanceSafe. McElwain's extensive involvement in advocacy and leadership roles encompasses positions with Students for Sensible Drug Policy and the CHOICE Education Foundation, alongside a legal externship at Vicente LLP. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Technical Communication from Colorado State University.
