Harriet Isiaho - Avedi

Harriet Isiaho - Avedi, MPH, BSN, RN-SANE, is an experienced clinical educator and quality control expert currently working at MedStar Washington Hospital Center since June 2021. With a diverse background in nursing and public health, Harriet has held various roles, including Clinical Nurse Educator and RN Supervisor at UHS and the Psychiatric Institute of Washington since 2013. As Executive Director of Angels at Hand International Inc., Harriet leads efforts to support children with learning disabilities in Africa. Previously, Harriet served as Psychiatric Nurse Manager at Green Door Behavioral Health and completed a Colorectal Cancer and Workplace Wellness internship with the D.C. Department of Health. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Health from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington Adventist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Nairobi.
