Suratman has a solid work experience in the accounting field. suratman started their career at PT SMART Tbk in 2008, where they worked as a Cost Accountant and later as a Business Control. In these roles, they ensured the accurate recording of production operational costs and analyzed production costs to provide input for decision-making. suratman also ensured compliance with company SOPs and conducted inventory control to prevent fraud. suratman then joined PT. Banua Anugerah Sejahtera in 2010 as an Accounting Supervisor until 2012. After that, they joined PT Arutmin Indonesia in 2012 and has been working in an accounting role there.

Suratman attended the University of Brawijaya from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
