Rudy Cahaya Setyawan has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Rudy Cahaya Setyawan, started their career in 2013 as a Management Trainee at PT. Asuransi Umum BCA. After completing the trainee program, they served as a Senior Audit Analyst from January 2014 to October 2016. Rudy Cahaya Setyawan, then moved to PT Asuransi Adira Dinamika (Adira Insurance) and worked there as an Internal Audit Team Leader from October 2016 to January 2020. Currently, they are employed at PT Asuransi Total Bersama, where they began as an Assistant Manager Internal Audit in January 2020 and has recently been promoted to the position of Head of Internal Audit in May 2023.

Rudy Cahaya Setyawan pursued their education at Universitas Nasional (UNAS) from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in SSI (Analisis Sistem Komputer - Computer Systems Analysis). In 2013, they attended Akademi Asuransi Trisakti for the Management Trainee Program PT. Asuransi Umum BCA, although no specific degree was mentioned.
