Andrew Collins

Andrew Collins has over a decade of experience in the mining and explosives industries, currently serving as Production and Development Manager for the DMLZ Mine at Freeport Indonesia since January 2017. Previously held positions include Production Manager at the same mine and General Supervisor of Production at the Grasberg Block Cave. Andrew's career began with roles at Orica, where responsibilities ranged from Blasting Adviser to Senior Technical Services Engineer. Additional experience includes a position as Drill and Blast Engineer at BHP and a brief period at Xstrata Copper. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from UNSW, a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Curtin University, and an MBA with a focus on Finance from AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
