Gde Wijaya Kusuma

Gde Wijaya Kusuma has significant experience in the mining industry, currently serving as a Secondary Breaking Strategic at Freeport Indonesia since March 2019. In this role, Gde is responsible for secondary breaking strategies in underground block cave mining, focusing on treatment of draw point hangup/boulders, and managing various units, including mobile rock breakers, water cannons, and automated secondary breaking systems. Prior to this, Gde participated in a graduate program at Freeport Indonesia and worked as a management trainee in the engineering department at PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama. Gde holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, obtained between 2012 and 2016.
