Herman Bachtiar

Herman Bachtiar is a skilled professional in the field of engineering with a focus on mechatronics, robotics, and automation. Currently serving as a Cathode Stripping Machine Operator at Freeport Indonesia since August 2023, Herman previously held positions at Polygon Group, contributing to laser cutting and robot welding engineering, as well as development and engineering tasks from June 2022 to June 2023. Prior experience includes a role in production engineering at Ferron Par Pharmaceuticals, freelance mechanical design, and a student internship at the Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space, where project work involved automated control research for rocket vehicles. Herman's journey in engineering began with mechanical technician responsibilities in the Abu Robocon Division at Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, where a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering was later achieved, following foundational education at SHS 3 Nganjuk.
