Ali is Managing Director with responsibility for Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Operation.
Since joining Trakindo in 1993 as Sales Development Manager, he has held numerous positions with increasing responsibilities within sales, marketing and mining divisions. In 2000 he was named as the General Manager for National Mining Division; in 2003 he became the General Manager for Marketing Division and was appointed as the Marketing Director for the dealership in 2005. In 2008 he was the Director and Chief Operating Officer.
With the restructuring of the organization in July 2016, he was entrusted with the position of Managing Director with main responsibility in directing and coordinating all operational related functions: sales, marketing, operation and supply chain.
Having spent most of his youth in the UK, Ali holds a bachelor's degree in Economics, Politics and Sociology from Hull University, and an MBA in International Business & Marketing from Aston University. He has also completed the Caterpillar Executive Leadership Program, Digging Deep, in conjunction with Duke University in 2016.
