Mauricio Melo

Mauricio Melo is an experienced Powertrain Project Engineer currently supporting the Local Powertrain Project engineering team at PTC Group since May 2023. Previously, Mauricio served as a Thermal Systems Engineer at KPIT, focusing on developing software high-level requirements for internal combustion engine (ICE) and hybrid powertrains. At IAV do Brasil Ltda, Mauricio coordinated engineering activities for diesel engine and aftertreatment product development. A notable long-term tenure at Ford Motor Company spanned from January 1995 to July 2018, where Mauricio held various leadership roles, including Powertrain CAD Supervisor and multiple design and release supervisor positions for cooling systems, air induction systems, and powertrain installations across South America. Mauricio holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a specialization in Automotive Engineering from FEI.
