Ashleigh Nugent

Ashleigh Nugent is an accomplished professional in the field of medical communications, currently serving as Executive Director at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since December 2018, after progressing through various roles including Senior Director, Director, and Associate Director of Global Medical Communications. Prior experience includes serving as Account Director at Fishawack Group of Companies from February 2013 to November 2018 and as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Universitaet Basel from January 2011 to February 2013. Additionally, Ashleigh Nugent held the position of Instructor of Anatomy at Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2010, where responsibilities included developing course materials and laboratory instruction. Ashleigh Nugent earned a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Akron.
