Janet Wang

Janet Wang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Chief of Staff - CMC, Technical Operations and Research at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since 2021. In this role, Janet provides strategic support to the Chief Technical Operations Officer, while also having led cross-functional CMC project teams for AAV gene therapy projects. Prior experience includes leadership positions at NOVAVAX INC, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and Novartis, where Janet focused on CMC tech transfer, project management, and the development of sterile peptide products, among other responsibilities. Janet's career commenced at MedImmune, leading projects such as the FluMist® vaccine. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
