Kerstin Effenberger

Kerstin Effenberger has extensive experience in biology, currently serving as Associate Director at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since November 2015, after progressing through various roles including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at UC Santa Cruz in the lab of Melissa Jurica, where research focused on spliceosome function and biochemical characterization. Kerstin Effenberger earned a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2015 and holds a German "Diploma" in Biology from Technische Universität Darmstadt.
