Inga Thoresson Hallgren

Inga Thoresson Hallgren is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in public administration and policy development. Currently serving as Styrelseordförande at Post- och telestyrelsen (PTS) since July 2020, Inga has previously held significant roles including Överdirektör and Generalsdirektör at Migrationsverket from January 2018 to December 2023. With a background as Avdelningschef and departementsråd at the Regeringskansliet, Näringsdepartementet from September 2007 to January 2018, Inga specialized in regional growth policy, entrepreneurship promotion, and sustainable development. Earlier career highlights include positions at Faugert&Co/Technopolis and PWC as a seniorkonsult, as well as foundational roles in the private sector. Inga holds degrees in Applied Communication Science and Economics from Stockholm University.
