Benjamin Choo

Benjamin Choo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE) and Well Engineering and Operations at PTTEP since July 2019, Benjamin Choo has held several key positions including E&P Country Manager for the Malaysia asset and acting Well Operations Vice President. Prior to joining PTTEP, Benjamin Choo worked at Murphy Oil Corporation for over 14 years, where roles included E&P Country Manager for Malaysia and Brunei and E&P Deepwater Asset Manager. Benjamin Choo holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from Monash University and completed Executive Education in International Management at Stanford University in 2018.
