Tengku Zharif Aziz

Tengku Zharif Aziz is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Senior Drilling Engineer at PTTEP since February 2024. Prior to this role, Tengku served as a Program Advisor at Halliburton and as a Project Manager for Smart Technologies at Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, where a business-led digital roadmap was developed. Tengku's previous experience includes roles as a Senior Drilling Engineer and Drilling Engineer at SapuraOMV Upstream, and as a Facilities/Project Engineer at SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad. Additional project management experience includes significant contributions to the Gumusut Kakap Project and other international developments while working at Sapura Acergy Sdn. Bhd. and PETRONAS. Tengku holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London and completed A-Levels at Kolej Yayasan UEM.
