Public Advocates
Sam Tepperman-Gelfant is currently a Managing Attorney at Public Advocates with extensive legal experience. Prior to their current role, Sam held positions such as Deputy Managing Attorney, Senior Staff Attorney, and Staff Attorney within the same organization. Sam also served as a Staff Attorney at the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and as a Law Clerk at E.D. Pa. Sam has a JD from Harvard Law School and an AB in American History and Literature from Harvard University. Additionally, Sam has previous experience as a Paralegal at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel and as a Summer Associate at Lambda Legal and Public Advocates, Inc. Earlier in their career, Sam worked as a Cellist at California Shakespeare Theater and as an Explainer at Exploratorium.
