Hannah Guerrier has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Managing Attorney, Community Engagement Manager, Supervising Housing Attorney, and Housing Attorney at Legal Aid of North Carolina since January 2016, focusing on representing low-income tenants in eviction and subsidy termination cases. Prior to this role, Hannah worked as a Research Fellow at the Mid-Atlantic Juvenile Defender Center and held various positions at Georgetown University Law Center, including Graduate Legal Assistant and Student Attorney in the Juvenile Justice Clinic, where representation of juvenile clients was a key responsibility. Other noteworthy experiences include roles at the Public Defender Service, U.S. Department of Education, Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, and the Fairfax County Public Defender Office. Hannah holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University.
