Public Counsel
Jennifer Calderon is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Public Counsel since September 2023. Jennifer gained valuable experience as a Clinic Law Student at Loyola Immigrant Justice Clinic from August 2021 to May 2023. Additional legal experience includes roles as a Summer Law Clerk at the Immigration Center for Women and Children and Immigrant Defenders Law Center in 2022 and 2021, respectively. Earlier professional involvement includes an Immigration Internship at the International Rescue Committee and a role as a Caregiver at Aven Care Providers from 2014 to 2018. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Public Service and Chicano Studies from the University of California, Davis.
