Andres Virgen

Andres Virgen is a highly experienced Senior Investigative Specialist at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, with expertise in case investigation processes, digital forensics, and client advocacy. Since August 2017, Andres has conducted in-depth interviews, performed digital forensic investigations, and generated detailed investigative reports. Previous roles include Criminal Defense Investigator at the State of Connecticut’s Division of Public Defender Services and Investigator at I.R.I.S LLC, where skills in surveillance and evidence analysis were further developed. With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Justice Studies from the University of New Hampshire, Andres actively mentors new investigators and assists community defense efforts.
