Sharena Deadwyler

Sharena Deadwyler is an experienced investigative specialist currently serving at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia since August 2022. Previous roles include master scheduler at Blueline Security Services and administrative manager at Engineering, Systems Support, and Engineering (ESSI), LLC, where responsibilities included managing vendor payments and ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations. Sharena also gained valuable experience as a Georgetown University Law investigative intern, conducting field investigations and engaging with witnesses. Educationally, Sharena holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Hampton University, complemented by a strong background in administrative roles throughout various organizations.
