Michael Stone

Vice President Of Innovative Learning at Public Education Foundation

Michael Stone is an experienced educational leader with a strong background in innovative learning and project-based education. Currently serving as Vice President of Innovative Learning at the Public Education Foundation since July 2016 and cofounder of devX PD, LLC since January 2016, Michael also held the role of Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow at the National Science Foundation from September 2015 to July 2016. Previous roles include Project Based-Learning Coach and Fabrication Laboratory Manager at STEM School Chattanooga and teaching positions at East Hamilton High School and Hamilton Heights Christian Academy, where Michael taught various subjects including AP Calculus and AP Computer Science, while also coaching basketball. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bryan College.
