Asma Hassan

Asma Hassan is a Policy Analyst at the Public Health Agency of Canada since September 2023 and has served as President of the Somali Education Fund since November 2016. Previously, Asma held the position of Policy Analyst at the Canada School of Public Service from July 2021 to September 2023 and worked as a Junior Policy Analyst at Employment and Social Development Canada between May 2019 and June 2021. Additional experience includes roles as a Communications Consultant at EQWIP HUBs, Marketing and Communications Specialist at the Canadian Federation of University Women, and Contract Marketing and Data Analyst at Impact Hub Ottawa. Asma was self-employed as a tutor from July 2010 to July 2018. Asma holds a Bachelor of Commerce with High Distinction from Carleton University, earned from 2014 to 2019.
