Jiaao Yu

Jiaao (Joy) Yu is a skilled professional in the field of health and laboratory services, currently serving as a Surveillance Analyst at the Public Health Agency of Canada since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Regulatory Affairs Project Officer and Senior Laboratory Technician at Geneseeq Technology Inc. from November 2021 to August 2023, as well as positions such as Research Technologist and Research Assistant at the University of Alberta from January 2018 to June 2022. Earlier in the career, Jiaao was a Clinical Biochemist at Beijing Children’s Hospital from August 2013 to December 2017. Jiaao holds a Master of Science in Laboratory Medicine and Pathology from the University of Alberta and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs & Quality Operations at Seneca Polytechnic. Additionally, a Doctor of Medicine degree was obtained from Tianjin Medical University in 2011.
