Melissa MacLeod is a Senior Epidemiologist and Biostatistician at the Public Health Agency of Canada, with experience in leading significant surveillance projects and engaging with numerous program representatives. Prior to this role, Melissa served as an Epidemiologist at Southwestern Public Health, where contributions included creating health information products and developing COVID-19 and opioid-related dashboards. Experience also includes positions as a Health Data Analyst at the Region of Waterloo, a Research Associate and Assistant at CAMH, and a Medical Research Associate at Mediprobe Research Inc., along with a brief role as a Census Enumerator at Statistics Canada. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Western University and an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa.
