Tammy Bell has a diverse work experience in the public health sector. Tammy began their career at the Public Health Agency of Canada in 2002 as a Senior Advisor in the Director General's Office of the Centre for Infectious Disease Prevention and Control. From 2007 to 2015, they held various positions in the Office of International Affairs, including Manager of Horizontal Policy and Integration and Director of Bilateral Engagement. In 2019, they became the Executive Director of the Office of the Chief Public Health Officer. Currently, they serve as the Director General and Corporate Secretary of the Corporate Secretariat in the Strategic Policy Branch.
Tammy Bell earned a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from the University of Waterloo in 1998. Tammy further pursued their education and completed a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Carleton University between 2002 and 2005.
