Bejo Jacob

Research Fellow at Public Health Foundation of India

Bejo Jacob has worked as a Research Fellow at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) since November 2021. Prior to that, they were a Research Consultant at the Centre for Research in Urban Affairs (CRUA), ISEC in 2021. From June 2019 to September 2019, they served as a Research Associate at the Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore. In addition, they worked as the India Student Coordinator at the Nordic Centre in India from May 2019 to August 2019.

Bejo Jacob's education history begins with their bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Berchmans College, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued further studies and completed a Master's degree in Applied Economics from Pondicherry University from 2013 to 2015. During their time at Pondicherry University, they also obtained two postgraduate diplomas, one in Investment Management and the other in Rural Development. Most recently, from 2015 to 2021, Bejo Jacob attended the Institute for Social and Economic Change located in Bangalore, where they attained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics, specializing in Health economics.
