Dr Pushkar Kumar is a Sr. Public Health Specialist and Director of Training at the Public Health Foundation of India. Previously, Dr Kumar worked as a Lead Consultant in Maternal Health at the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Before that, Dr Pushkar held roles as Programme Officer and Sr. Technical Officer in Blood Safety at the NATIONAL AIDS CONTROL ORGANISATION and as a Registrar in the Department of Transfusion Medicine at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals New Delhi. Dr Kumar holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology from PMCH Patna and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from SKMCH Muzaffarpur. Dr Pushkar completed their schooling at Loyola School Jamshedpur with an ISC and ICSE in Biology and Maths.
