Kabir Sheikh

Kabir Sheikh serves as a Professor of Global Health Systems and Policy at UCL Global Business School for Health and Co-Chair of the Global Health Policy and Systems Research Committee at the NIHR. With a long-standing association with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine as an Honorary Professor and Honorary Associate Professor, Kabir also has significant roles with the Public Health Foundation of India, including Director of Research and Policy. Additionally, Kabir holds various honorary positions at the University of Melbourne and has contributed to health systems research as a Section Editor for Health Policy and Planning. Kabir's previous appointments include Policy Advisor at the World Health Organization and Scientific Convenor for the Government of India’s National Knowledge Platform for Health Systems Research. Educational credentials include a PhD and MSc from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, along with an MBBS from Delhi University.
