Emily Henke

Emily Henke, MPH, serves as the Executive Director of the Oregon Public Health Institute and the Public Health Institute since 2020, where the mission focuses on improving health, advancing equity, and reducing disparities. Henke co-directs the Oregon Health & Outdoors Initiative, leading efforts to integrate health equity and environmental conservation. Previous roles include Policy & Technical Assistance Manager at OPHI, where policy embedding initiatives were developed, and Principal at Emily Henke, LLC, focused on building healthier communities. Henke also contributed to various roles including regional equity consulting, health systems transformation research, and community engagement in health insurance enrollment strategies, supported by a Master of Public Health from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Lewis & Clark College.
