Public Health Institute
Sally Luu is a dedicated health educator currently working at the Public Health Institute since July 2023, promoting the IWAY2 Project to enhance the mental health and wellness of Asian youths in Alameda County. With experience as a peer health educator and health ambassador at the University of California, Merced, Sally developed and managed health campaigns based on student needs and implemented wellness practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sally's leadership skills were demonstrated as the Internal Vice President of the Vietnamese Student Association, facilitating communication and event execution. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science with a concentration in Molecular & Cell, and Sally is pursuing a Master of Public Health degree, expected in 2027.
