Tarah Ranke

Tarah Ranke has extensive work experience in the public health and healthcare sectors. Tarah has been the Director of Operations Division at the Public Health Institute since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager at the same organization from February 2018 to April 2022. In 2016, they served as the Regional Campaign Manager for ANCHOR Partnerships at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, where they focused on increasing healthy food and beverage choices in public places. Tarah also worked as a Sustainable Foods Program Manager at the Center for Integrative Medicine from April 2014 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, they were a Clinical Research Specialist at the University of Maryland, Baltimore from July 2009 to April 2014, and a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Microbiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center from December 2007 to July 2009.

Tarah Ranke received a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2010-2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology and molecular genetics from Michigan State University in 1999-2003. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in Microbiology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in August 2006.
