Deborah M. Sale

Deborah M. Sale has extensive experience in healthcare and public service. Currently serving on the Board of Trustees at VNS Health since 2018, Deborah also holds the position of Independent Director at BlueWolf Healthcare Services Holdings, LLC, and has been involved with Public Health Solutions as Chair, Emeritus and Secretary since 2006. As President, Emeritus of the Health Care Executive Forum and Chairperson Emeritus of The Yard, Deborah has contributed to both health care and the arts communities. Additionally, as a Founding Board Member of Eleanor's Legacy, Deborah focuses on supporting pro-choice Democratic women in politics. Previous leadership roles include Chair of the Board of Directors at The Community Service Society of New York and Board Member at the Citizens Budget Commission. Deborah's earlier career includes significant accomplishments as Executive Vice President of External Affairs at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rhodes College and has pursued further education at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
