Nikhil Narayan

Dr. Nikhil Narayan serves as a Lecturer in Law at Queen's University Belfast since April 2023, focusing on areas such as Transitional Justice, Human Rights, and International Humanitarian Law. With extensive experience as an International Human Rights Lawyer since 2005, Dr. Narayan has held multiple prominent positions including Senior Peace Fellow at the Public International Law & Policy Group and Visiting Professor at The George Washington University Law School. Previous roles include Senior Legal Adviser at the International Commission of Jurists and Chief of Party in Tanzania, where Dr. Narayan managed significant human rights programs. Dr. Narayan holds a PhD in Law from Queen's University Belfast, an Advanced LLM in Public International Law from Leiden University, a J.D. from Columbia Law School, and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
