Joanna Wong is a doula at The DV Doula, empowering individuals to break cycles of abuse for themselves and future generations. With a background in family law and advocacy, Joanna has served in various roles such as Supervising Attorney and Lead Staff Attorney at Public Law Center. Additionally, Joanna has experience as a Writer, Speaker, and Consultant at Joanna Wong Consulting, where Joanna has spoken at conferences on topics like Spiritual Abuse and Domestic Violence. Prior to that, Joanna worked as an Associate Attorney at Yanez & Associates and held roles at Legal Aid Society of Orange County. Joanna Wong holds a Juris Doctor in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution from Chapman University Fowler School of Law and a BS in Physiological Science from UCLA.

The Public Law Center (PLC), Orange County's pro bono law firm, is committed to providing access to justice for low income residents. Through volunteers and staff, PLC provides free civil legal services, including counseling, individual representation, community education, and strategic litigation and advocacy to challenge societal injustices.
