Eric Galatas is an experienced writer, producer, and director with a diverse background in media and theater. Currently serving as a Writer and Producer at Public News Service since December 2014, Eric previously held roles such as Guest Director for Stay Awake Theatre, where a production of "No Good Deed" was directed. With extensive experience at Free Speech TV from 1998 to 2014, Eric managed national programming, production, and strategic partnerships as Program Director. Eric co-founded several Independent Media Centers and produced notable projects such as “Showdown in Seattle.” Past positions also include writer and on-air talent at Working Assets Radio, development roles at Washington Citizen Action, and executive director responsibilities at Citizen Vagrom. Eric's early career includes various positions in the entertainment industry, such as assistant producer for "Northern Exposure" and assistant arts editor at The Dallas Morning News. Eric holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Southern Methodist University.
