Cesar Alesi Perez

Cesar Alesi Perez is a skilled research associate with extensive experience in public policy and economic security. Currently employed at the Public Policy Institute of California since July 2020, Cesar has progressed from Research Associate II to Research Associate III. Previous experience includes serving as a Teacher's Assistant and Academic Tutor at the University of California San Diego, where assistance was provided in quantitative methods and economics. Cesar also interned at the San Diego Housing Commission, focusing on research and client assessments, as well as at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, which involved literature reviews and policy implications related to early childhood education. Earlier roles include teaching and tutoring at the UCLA Lab School and an accounting internship at Axos Bank. Cesar holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy and a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and Accounting from UCLA. Currently, Cesar is engaged in summer study abroad at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
