Eric McGhee

Eric McGhee is a Senior Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California, where since August 2007, Eric has served as a key analyst on politics and political reform. McGhee has influenced public discourse on various topics, including redistricting reform and California's "top two" primary. From January to December 2014, McGhee contributed as an Election Forecaster and Blogger for The Washington Post's Election Lab. Prior to their current role, McGhee was an Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon from September 2004 to July 2007 and participated as a Congressional Fellow with APSA from November 2003 to August 2004. McGhee earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
