Sarah Bardeen

Sarah Bardeen is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in the music and public policy sectors. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at the Public Policy Institute of California since May 2021, Bardeen previously held the position of Communications Director at International Rivers and worked as a consultant for various clients, including YouTube. At YouTube, Bardeen was the Music Community Manager, overseeing all music features, and earlier worked as the World and Latin Music Editor at Rhapsody International. Bardeen's career also includes a tenure as a music critic for National Public Radio. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in English and Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Oberlin College.
