George Karakostas

George Karakostas has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. George started as a Senior Network & Systems Engineer at SYSTEM-LAN SA in 1996 and has held various managerial roles at companies like Grapes Communications, Tellas, WIND Hellas, and Connecticore. George'smost recent position was as Director of Operations & Infrastructures at PPC S.A. starting in 2021. Throughout their career, George has demonstrated expertise in network deployment, technical division management, and services integration.

George Karakostas completed their Higher National Diploma in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from the University of Bedfordshire in 1990. George then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, graduating with Honours in 1994. Later, in 1995, George obtained a Master of Science in Data Communications, Networks and Distributed Systems from UCL, specializing in Networks and Telecommunications. Additionally, George has acquired various certifications in project management and network design throughout their career.
