Phyllis King

Phyllis King has extensive experience in education and technology, currently serving as a Career & Technical Education Business Finance Information Technology Teacher at the Public Schools of Robeson County since January 2001. In this role, Phyllis shapes students into responsible technology users and prepares them for the North Carolina Computer & Technology Skills Assessment. Additional responsibilities have included serving as a school webmaster and technology trainer, as well as an after-school STEM instructor. Prior experience includes a position as an Online Course Evaluator & Designer at Cape Fear Community College from May 2016 to April 2017 and a supervisory role at International Jensen, Inc. from February 1984 to March 1999. Phyllis holds a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a Teacher Certification in Business Finance & Information Technology from Fayetteville State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
